hotel backpackers

wanted to let everyone know that we are here in Rio Dulce at the hotel backpackers(that funds the orphanage) and we´ve been working here yesterday and today. everyone is really friendly here and the lady that is in charge is from australia and speaks english which is very helpful. we were able to meet a lot of the kids today because they came over to get a picture in front of the hotel for the local media. we were supposed to work here at the hotel for a week before going to the orphanage but thad and i are going to the orphanage tomorrow to start working while cole is staying here for a bit. learning spanish is going pretty slow but everyone is really patient and pretty helpful. i took a few pictures yesterday so maybe i can load them tonight. i´m getting ready to go into town with a few people to catch happy hour at the local bar and get some supplies for the orphanage, since we will be there for about 3 weeks and it´s pretty primitive compared to here. i´ll talk to you soon.
