week one.

HELLO ALL!!
hope all is well in the states, i´ve heard some news about some bad economy going on but hey at least you don´t have to take water from the sink to flush the toilet huh, so get things together otherwise i´m staying down here! No things are going pretty good, we get a chance to come to town every wednesday and saturday so here i am back in the worldwideweb. so it´s been a week in guatemala and when i realized that i didn´t believe it, it seems like it´s been so much longer(in a good way). the orphanage is great the volunteers have a house that we all live in and there´s about 17 of us in the house, with still about ten more that stay with all of the kids. it´s pretty interesting, no electricity in our house but running water during the day when the generator is going so that´s nice. the volunteers are from just about everywhere, which makes for interesting conversation. i´m still working on my spanish, which will never stop, i think thad and i are going to take a class on our first few days off, we may also go get our dive masters because there´s some places that are pretty cheap around and it´s good for life, so why not. i promise i´ll put some pictures up the next time i come into town. life is good and simple, keep it that way. hasta la semana!
